Data Hosting Plans

  • Cloud storage is a storing data on a network of third party virtual servers. The data centers virtualize the resources based on the client’s need and provide them as storage pools, which the customers can themselves use to store files or data objects. Physically, the resource may span across multiple servers.
  • Clustered hosting is a type of web hosting that spreads the load of hosting across multiple physical machines (“nodes”), increasing availability and decreasing the chances of one service.
  • Grid storage is a term referring to the combination of computer resources from multiple administrative domains to reach a common goal. The grid can be thought of as a distributed system with non-interactive workloads that involve a large number of files. What distinguishes grid computing from conventional high performance computing systems such as cluster computing is that grids tend to be more loosely coupled, heterogeneous, and geographically dispersed.
